	Privacy Policy and Terms of Use Update As TripAdvisor's site and apps continue to grow to offer you new travel tools, we want to keep you in the loop about our current practices. Here's a brief summary of the most recent updates we've made to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, effective April 28, 2014: • We've explained how we collect and share your travel-related information with trusted providers of travel accommodations and services. When you book a reservation facilitated by TripAdvisor, we will provide the information related to that reservation to the travel services provider you selected, in order to complete your reservation. • We've described how we may use your location information and information from other sources to customize the way we display the website and app features for you (for example, local currencies, nearby points of interest, etc.). • We clarified what we will do with your data if you ever decide to close your TripAdvisor account and how we will deactivate your account and remove your profile information from active view. • We've provided further details regarding our Instant Booking and Vacation Rentals transactional products and services. Our updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Use include more information about these updates and some other small changes. We ask that you read and agree to the updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before continuing to use our site and apps on and after April 28, 2014. 	Time to Update Your Password We want to reassure you that none of our user accounts or websites have been compromised due to the Heartbleed security bug that has been in the news recently. That said, it is always good practice to update your passwords periodically to ensure that your online accounts are secure. We're about to launch some exciting new travel features, such as Instant Booking, which will let you make a hotel reservation through the TripAdvisor app. With this in mind, we are prompting members that have not updated their password recently to set a new one when they login to TripAdvisor. To update your TripAdvisor password now, simply visit this page and follow the directions for "Forgot your password?"
