Hi Gio,
Font Candy is the best way to add design-forward typography to your images on mobile. And it's our easier app to use! Okay, maybe not as easy as Animal Face... but pretty damn close!
| | | Choose your photo, select the font, edit your font, add some art, and you're done! It's really that easy. Below, we walk you through a simple edit that will take less than 5 minutes. | | | Start with a photo that you like. We chose a shot from our friend Tori's recent trip to Seattle. | | 1. Upload your image to Font Candy and crop it how you'd like.
2. Double tap your font box and type in a few words.
(Depending on what device you're on, from here the instructions might not be exact. We're using the full version of Font Candy on an iPad.)
3. Then it's time to pick your font. Choose whichever one appeals to you and fits the mood of the photo you've chosen. Select the icon with two little sliders and adjust your font size and font spacing.
4. We decided to bring in some artwork to flank our text. You can adjust the size of artwork with the good ol' pinch and zoom method. | | | 5. We moved the font down, changed the artwork style and font, added a green filter (it is the Emerald City after all), and VOILA! | | | Now you know how to do it.
