How to Get Your Work Noticed

Hi Gio, It’s simple really. If you want to get noticed there are two basic steps: 1) Create great work. How do you create great work? Pursue what you enjoy creating. When you go after what you’re into, the results are always more genuine. Don’t be afraid to put a little bit of yourself in your work. On voyeuristic platforms like Instagram and Tumblr people want to see your personality. The final piece to making great work is to put in the time. 2) Share it with people. Don’t hesitate! Your followers are following you for a reason. They enjoy what you post and they want to see more of it. So give it to them! Reach out to your favorite artists and ask for their opinions. Who better to give you advice than those creatives that you admire? If they dig it, they might share your work with their following. Getting noticed isn’t all about double tapping and hashtags. It’s bigger than that, and it’s up to you to make it happen. Once you’ve created great work that you’re proud of it’s simply about spreading that work through the right channels.
