A wise person once said “nothing is original”. At first glance that is somewhat off putting to an artist, what’s the point of art if not to create something original?! But where would we be if we didn’t have the past to look upon and reshape our future? The best of the best have borrowed on things from our past..it’s artistic evolution. So ladies and gentlemen, this week we invite you to embrace the power of the remix or in photo terms the “EDIT’. Just be sure to credit those that have paved the way for you!

We love this shot by @girlgreybeauty that was inspired by the amazing artist Frida Kahlo. @greygirlbeauty did a great job of making the look her own and bringing it to the 21st century with the pixilated “8 Bit” filter in Split Pic. Just use the same photo for each frame then apply the 8 Bit filter to one side, you can adjust the slider to control the size of the squares. Easy and fun edit!

 

 

That brings me to our Artist Collections available in FUSED. We are working with some amazing artists to bring  you A+ photos and videos you can blend with your own work! Above is an example made by @jesus.albaghadadi48 with one of peices from M I N D R I T E ’s   "Portraits Pack" and an excellent city shot he took.
